TMA Contemporary features works by 118 accepted artists from a total of 453 applicants. It is a true reflection of the artistic talent Wisconsin has to offer. 

TMA Contemporary is the Trout Museum of Art’s annual juried exhibition, this year showcasing 118 of Wisconsin’s top visual artists. Works exemplify the cutting-edge work being created by artists across the state, emerging and established. 

Jurors Samantha Timm and Mutòpe Johnson selected artists based on their artistic quality and innovative ideas. Artists draw inspiration from the world around them, personal narrative, the environment, or their inner feelings and imagination. Spanning all three floors of the museum, TMA Contemporary represents a wide spectrum of media and creative perspectives.
