“The Unexpected Vista” explores the idea of how a specific location shapes and affects the artist’s thoughts and exploration. What started as a drive along Lake Michigan in Sheboygan resulted in a body of work focused on the beauty and destruction of the water through the use of implied language. The language that accompanies the work is meant as a platform in which the viewer can navigate meaning and experiences.
