On December 6th, MOWA had its first Members’ Show in its new location, 205 Veterans Ave. West Bend, WI. 250 pieces of art were installed and ready for public viewing. All genres, subject matter, skill level, etc were encouraged to apply. Executive Director/CEO, Laurie Winters, stated that at 12am on October 16th it opened its online submission process and by 2am the website went down due to the number of submissions. In a few hours, it was up and running. The number of entries took the MOWA staff about a week to install.
