Tonight the Alzheimer’s Association organized its annual fundraising event at Cuvee Champagne Bar in the Third Ward. This night benefitted the Alzheimer’s Association signature art program, Memories in the Making ® (MIM). About 100 pieces were silent auctioned with 100% of the proceeds to benefit this organization and MIM. Nineteen professional artists responded to the MIM art, and through this response they created their own fabulous piece. These works were paired with a work of art created by MIM participants and were auctioned off as a pair.
This year’s artists were Pamela Anderson, Ann Baer, Fred Bell, William E. Burke, Melissa Dorn Richards, Sally Duback, Barb Hayden, Jennifer Hellermann, James Hempel, Pat Hidson, Tom Hlavacek, Frank Juarez, Katie Martin, Mary Ellen Mueller, Kris Reicher, Alice Struck, Richard Taylor, Della Wells, Jason Yi & Jenna Knapp.
